How does a daily skincare routine look like?
For better results, is recommendable to have 2 skincare routines a day, one in the morning and one in the evening, is the best practice.
In the morning you prepare your skin for the day and protect it from external factors like sun and pollution. In the evening routine you prepare the skin to regenerate during the sleep time.
Step 1: Cleanser (am) / Double cleanser (pm)
For ingredients to properly absorb, you need clean skin that’s totally free of oil and grime. In the evening use first an oil/balm cleanser, to gently break down all make up, spf and dirt accumulated during the day.
Step 2: Toner
Toners are filled with gentle, hydrating ingredients to bring the skin’s pH back to normal after the cleansing.
Step 3: Serum(s)
Serums are essentially just shots of extremely concentrated nutrients, hydrators, and antioxidants that really amp up your skin health as soon as you apply them.
Step 4: Moisturizer
Together with cleansing, moisturizing is the most important step and you should never skip it. Moisturizers infuse your skin with hydration and also help trap in all the products underneath it to make the ingredients even more effective.
Step 5: Spf (am) / Oil (pm)
Protect your skin from sun damage with Spf during the day, and lock in all moisture with an oil in the evening.
For a really simplified skincare routine, if you are in a rush, traveling or just feeling lazy, never avoid these 2 steps:
Step 1: Cleanser
Step 2: Moisturizer
